The Chef Behind H Street’s Po Boy Jim Is Adding New Restaurants

Chef Jeffeary Miskiri is adding to his Miskiri Hospitality Group, reports the Washington Business Journal. The owner of H Street’s long-running Po Boy Jim and the newish Creole on 14th will expand into Southeast and Hyattsville with new restaurants. A new cajun outpost from Miskiri is part of a deal with Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners at the redeveloped shopping center The Shops at Penn Branch at 3200 Pennsylvania Avenue SE.
Miskiri Hospitality Group will open Miss Toya’s Southern Cajun Kitchen and another venture in the 89,000-square-foot shopping center called Miss Toya’s Soul Juice. WBJ also reports that Chef Miskiri also has a new spot in the works in Hyattsville’s Arts District called Suga & Spice.
